Jorge 20KV grew up in Mississippi during the 60"s, playing guitar with his brother, who is now a professional jazz trumpet player and composer.
As a youngster he'd back up his brother who would practice blues trumpet for hours and hours. In college he switched from guitar to baritone horn on a music scholarship in the St. Louis University Jazz band and fronted his own band
Midnight Jam.
In St. Louis he played with the likes of the Great Clark Terry and hung with Bill Watrous. " I never forgot Bill playing

Over the years 20KV has fronted Jazz and Pop bands and in his own band played with such well known artist as Billy Pierce of Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers fame, Bill Mobley, a world renowned Jazz Trumpeter and Modern Jazz composer, Larry Pinella of Saxophone fame, and the Great Keith Killgo of the Blackbyrds, Dave Roddy Rodriguez trumpet, Johnny Long, the great Tony "guitar" Eble and 20KV's long time sidekick Pianist, vibraphonist and drummer Phil Pearl who together created their first CD
